Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, have returned home after completing another successful qualification campaign for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The achievement marks another significant milestone for the Flamingos, who have consistently established themselves among the leading teams in youth women’s football.
At the official draw for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026, Nigeria was placed in Group B alongside Poland, Puerto Rico and two-time defending champions, Korea DPR.
The tournament will be held in Morocco from 17 October to 7 November 2026.
The Flamingos also expressed appreciation to their supporters, media organisations and other stakeholders for their unwavering encouragement and coverage throughout the qualification campaign. With the draw now concluded, attention turns to preparations as Nigeria seeks to make another impressive outing at the World Cup.
