The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed Asaba, the Delta State capital, as the host city for the 2025 President Federation Cup finals.
Both the men’s and women’s finals will be played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on July 11, setting the stage for a thrilling celebration of Nigerian domestic football as the country’s oldest and most prestigious knockout competition reaches its climax.
In the men’s category, Ikorodu City have booked a historic first-ever appearance in the final after edging past Nasarawa United in a tense semi-final clash. The Lagos-based side will now face former champions El-Kanemi Warriors, who secured their spot with a hard-fought victory over Wikki Tourists.
The final is expected to deliver an exciting battle between a rising force in Nigerian football and one of the competition’s most experienced sides, with both teams aiming to lift the coveted trophy and earn national acclaim.
The Stephen Keshi Stadium, regarded as one of Nigeria’s leading sporting venues, has previously hosted several major football and athletics events and is expected to provide a fitting atmosphere for the grand finale.
