President Bola Tinubu has formally informed the House of Representatives about his plan to present the 2026 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly.

 

The notification letter was read by Speaker Abbas Tajudeen during Thursday’s plenary session.

 

According to the letter, President Tinubu, in his capacity as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, confirmed that he will deliver the proposed 2026 Budget at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
