Doro’s nomination follows the elevation of former Humanitarian Affairs Minister Nentawe Yilwatda as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.

Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga announced the nomination Tuesday, noting Doro’s extensive experience in clinical practice, pharmaceutical management, and community development in Nigeria and the UK.

Presidency sources said Tinubu also plans to fill another vacant cabinet position, including that of the recently resigned Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology.
