A passenger train on the Abuja- Kaduna route has derailed, throwing commuters into panic.

The incident occurred shortly after the train departed from Abuja en route to Kaduna. Witnesses said the derailment caused chaos, with many passengers scrambling to escape through the broken windows.

Following the incident, military personnel and emergency responders were quickly deployed to the scene to assist stranded commuters and restore normalcy to the area.

The cause of the derailment is yet to be known and there has been no official confirmation of injuries or casualties.

The management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation hasn’t spoken on the incident.
