A man’s body, reportedly ‘missing’, has been found floating in a river in Ibokun community of the Obokun local government area in Osun State.

The deceased, identified as Kehinde Ijebu, was a resident who disappeared without a trace on Tuesday, as reported by community members.

Family and locals present at the scene confirmed the body belonged to Kehinde and noted that he may have entered the river owing to his recent health issues.

A neighbour, who requested anonymity, stated that Kehinde had shown signs of emotional distress in recent times.

According to an eyewitness report, the body was first spotted drifting on the river’s surface early Wednesday morning.

Following the discovery, local customs were observed before Kehinde was buried near the river.
