The communique condemned the refusal of some state governments, including Zamfara, to implement the 2024 National Minimum Wage Act, describing it as a betrayal of workers’ rights amid rising economic challenges.

It was gathered that all affiliate unions in the State have endorsed the ultimatum given to the State government to implement the minimum wage by the end of November 2024.
