Popular skit maker Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, known as Sabinus, has confirmed that his marriage to Ciana Chapman has ended.

Speaking during a TikTok live session, the comedian explained that the separation was peaceful and mutually agreed.

“I’m not married. My marriage ended peacefully,” he said, adding that he and his former wife remain on good terms and are committed to co-parenting their daughter. “The mum and I are good. My daughter is okay, and she is doing fine,” he assured fans.

His disclosure settles long-running speculation surrounding his marital status, which persisted despite repeated denials.

Sabinus, who began his comedy career online before rising to mainstream fame, has also appeared in several Nollywood productions, including Billionaire’s Bride and Man of War. He previously won the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award for ‘Best Online Content Creator’.

Speaking earlier about the challenges faced by emerging entertainers, Sabinus recalled being ignored by established figures, saying many celebrities even blocked him when he sought their support.
