Former BBNaija housemate Boma Akpore says a relationship he believed would end in marriage collapsed after his partner’s family refused to accept him.

Speaking in an interview, Boma said he had planned to buy an engagement ring during a trip to the United States and propose to the woman he “really liked.”

He described their relationship as strong and “almost perfect,” despite minor disagreements.

He explained that everything changed when her family stepped in, saying they could not support the relationship because of things they had heard about him.

Boma blamed this on the negative attention that comes with being a public figure.

According to him, the rejection was painful and discouraging.

Boma rose to fame as a contestant in the BBNaija Shine Ya Eye season.
