In a recent interview on the a podcast, the Limpopo singer explained how he refuses to be discouraged by setbacks, emphasizing that perseverance is key to creating a hit song.
According to Kcee, the more music an artist releases, the greater the chances of achieving success. “I can drop 22 songs, and maybe the 25th one will be the hit,” he shared. “I don’t care because consistency is key.”
Kcee also reflected on the role of positive manifestation in his journey to success, recounting his early days with his brother and business partner, E-Money, in the hustle-filled streets of Ajegunle.

Despite their humble beginnings, the two would often talk about their future, envisioning a life in a more prosperous area. “When E-Money and I were living in Ajegunle, if you asked us where we were living, we’d say Ikeja. We weren’t lying or pretending; we were dreaming, prophesying into the future,” Kcee recalled. “And that’s exactly where we moved to. And we dominated it.”
For Kcee, staying positive and focusing on long-term goals has been instrumental in navigating the challenges of the music industry. His message is clear, success comes not from immediate results, but from dedication, belief in oneself, and an unshakeable optimism about the future.
