According to reports, the incident occurred after Arimoro attempted to leave the set once his contracted working hours had ended. It’s claimed that Peggy Ovire’s team blocked his car and deflated the tires, preventing him from leaving. Arimoro later shared a viral video showing his injuries, which included bleeding gums and lips, and accused Peggy and her crew of physically assaulting him.

However, Peggy Ovire has denied the allegations, asserting that Taye was the aggressor in the situation. She claims he assaulted two members of her crew, including her driver, who allegedly suffered ear bleeding from the confrontation.

Taye Arimoro’s legal team argues that his rights to personal liberty, movement, and dignity were violated. They are seeking damages for emotional trauma, psychological stress, and loss of earnings resulting from the incident. In an Instagram post, Arimoro shared a pre-action notice, stating. In light of the incident referenced in this correspondence, you have been served. Kindly forward all responses to my solicitors as indicated.”

Arimoro has given Peggy a seven-day deadline to respond to the allegations, warning that failure to do so will result in further legal action.
