Phyna, who won the reality show in 2022, shared a heartfelt message on social media, offering both encouragement and advice to Imisi, who is facing intense family tension despite her N150 million Big Brother prize.
In a post on X, Phyna wrote, “To Imisi and to anyone going through the same fire… I’m praying for your strength. My own experience broke me, but I’m slowly rising. I’m rooting for you with everything in me. Don’t handle it like I did, build strong and focus on you, baby girl.”
The post comes amidst ongoing drama between Imisi and her mother, who recently accused her daughter of hatred and revealed the poor living conditions she currently faces, despite Imisi’s financial success from the Big Brother Naija victory.

In a public response, Imisi addressed her mother in Yoruba, stating, “This is why Aunty Debola said you should not show your face to the world. I can’t say all that now, you are in the midst of people. Just overlook everything and leave social media. Don’t worry, I will send you money to rent a new house. I am tired of all this drama. I am still recovering from the stress of Big Brother. Should I be facing another stress now? Please forgive me, I am your daughter.”
This family feud echoes a similar situation from 2023, when Phyna’s father, Felix Otabor, publicly shared his distress over his daughter’s actions following her Big Brother win. Otabor revealed in an interview that Phyna had asked him to stop working as a hearse driver and to sell his cars, promising that she would improve their family’s financial situation.
However, Otabor later struggled financially after selling the vehicles, losing both his business momentum and community standing. He also mentioned that he had not seen his daughter since her victory and felt sidelined as she enjoyed the fruits of her success.
