The ongoing public feud, which reignited in October 2025, has taken a fresh twist, with both parties posting lengthy defenses on social media.
Senator Ned Nwoko accused Regina Daniels of struggling with drug addiction, claiming that her family played a key role in undermining her efforts to seek rehabilitation.
In a series of posts shared on X, Nwoko detailed his financial support for Regina’s family, including a ₦125 million transfer to her mother, Rita Daniels, and covering the education of her brother, Sammy.
According to Nwoko, Regina’s “dependence on certain illegal substances” contributed to her “erratic behavior,” and he alleged that her siblings and friends repeatedly sabotaged her recovery efforts. He claimed that when Regina began rehabilitation, doctors had advised restricting access to “enablers” but her family allegedly ignored these instructions.
“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around,” Nwoko wrote. He also emphasized the financial support he had provided to Regina’s family, including the purchase of a house in Asaba for her prior to their marriage.

In response, Regina Daniels has accused the 64-year-old senator of physical and sexual abuse, manipulation, and using his influence to have her family members arrested. While she has not shared as many specific details in public posts, her accusations against Nwoko are consistent with her previous claims in the ongoing marital dispute.
Regina’s representatives have also denied Nwoko’s allegations, with some suggesting that the senator’s narrative is a smear campaign intended to discredit her.
Despite the public feud, Nwoko insisted that his actions were motivated by concern for Regina’s well-being, stating that his attempts to help her were undermined by external influences.
