Olaiya said Tope and her partner had visited him at his Abeokuta home to request his Mercedes-Benz V-Boot with the customised plate number “Ololade Mr Money.” Although he initially agreed, he later decided against it.

According to the actor, armed robbers had snatched the same car from him just days before while he was in Ibadan for a movie promotion. Even though the vehicle was recovered, he said he feared it might not be safe for the couple to use.

“I was scared they could be attacked too,” Olaiya said. “That was why I couldn’t give them the car.”
