Police spokesperson Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi said the operation was carried out with help from local vigilantes after credible intelligence was received.
Two suspects, a woman, Ayisa Ibrahim, and a man, Yakubu Hassan, have been arrested, while others involved in the abduction are still being hunted.
Commissioner of Police Adekimi Ojo praised the officers for their efforts and assured residents that the Command is committed to tackling crime and keeping the state safe.

The police also urged residents to share useful information to help track down criminals, warning that there will be no hiding place for kidnappers in Kwara.
The rescue follows other recent successes by security agencies, including the recovery of several kidnap victims in coordinated raids near the Kwara–Kogi border.
