INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, said the commission is fully prepared for the upcoming governorship election and committed to ensuring a smooth and credible process.
He explained that although some network challenges were recorded during the test run of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, steps are being taken to prevent such issues on election day.
According to him, about 24,000 personnel will be deployed across more than 5,700 polling units in the state, while results will be collated at ward, local government, and state levels.
INEC has also extended the collection of Permanent Voter Cards to give more people the opportunity to vote.
Amupitan commended security agencies for their cooperation and said arrangements had been made with transport unions for the movement of election officials and materials, including 200 buses and 83 boats.
