The comedy and entertainment event, this year’s grand finale will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Now in its 18th year, Laffmattazz has become a staple of Nigerian entertainment, with tours across the country and internationally. This year, the show even made its debut in the UK. The 2025 edition returns to Lagos, where it all began, promising to deliver an unforgettable night filled with comedy, music, and vibrant cultural performances.
“This year’s show is especially meaningful for me,” said Gbenga Adeyinka in a statement. “Lagos shaped who I am today. It feels fitting to end the year in the city that gave me my voice and my audience.”
The comedian added that the event would celebrate the unique spirit of Lagos. “Lagos isn’t just a city; it’s an energy vibrant, diverse, and full of life. We’re bringing that essence to the stage.”
The night will feature a star-studded lineup, including comedy legends like Alibaba, Omobaba, and Edo Pikin, alongside music stars such as Niniola, 9ice, Sunny Neji, Timi Dakolo, and Musiliu Haruna Ishola. Dr. Smile and other rising talents will also join the stage, ensuring the evening is packed with laughter and rhythm.
The entertainment doesn’t stop there. Guests can also look forward to live performances from the Aristos Band, DJ MASS, and several other exciting acts.
Gbenga Adeyinka also took a moment to express his gratitude. “This event is a thank-you note to everyone who has supported us from the very beginning,” he said. “Comedy is one of Nigeria’s greatest exports.
