A video that surfaced online over the weekend shows Portable dressed in beige attire, appearing agitated as he confronts an unidentified individual amid a crowd of bystanders and airport security personnel.
In the clip, airport security officers in blue uniforms can be seen restraining the singer and leading him toward a vehicle in the airport parking lot. The video captures a chaotic scene with pushing and shoving, one person seen barefoot, and another appearing to hold a belt or whip.
According to multiple reports, the incident occurred on Sunday.
Reacting in a video posted to his Instagram account on Monday, Portable claimed he had been targeted by content creators staging a fake death prank. Speaking in a mix of English and Yoruba, he described the incident as nearly escalating to a “cultist level,” adding that “Those people came to prank me. They were death pranksters. It almost turned to cultist level. Ten yellow no fit stand one blue,” a reference interpreted by fans as a boast of strength or resilience.

“Make government stop all those prankers. And some fake bloggers, make them stop all this fake news post just because of small fame. Why una dey spoil person wey get glory name with una platforms,” he wrote.
Portable rose to fame with his hit track Zazu Zeh and has remained in the public eye, often for controversial reasons. He has previously had legal issues, including being declared wanted by Nigerian police over an alleged assault case.
