During the visit, he commissioned several infrastructure projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma, including the reconstructed 60-kilometre Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia dual carriageway, the Assumpta Flyover, and the newly completed 6,000-capacity Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre.
Tinubu also attended the public presentation of Uzodimma’s book, “A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria”, which highlights the country’s democratic journey and governance milestones under the All Progressives Congress.

Other projects commissioned included the renovated Imo Concorde Hilton Hotel and the Imo Digital Learning Centre, reflecting what presidential aides described as a shared commitment to infrastructure renewal and sustainable development.
