While speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the party’s state congress held in Yola, Governor Fintiri emphasized the PDP’s renewed strength and commitment to internal democracy and good governance.
“We are giving birth to a new PDP one that people can believe in, trust, and have confidence in,” he said. “The party is truly repositioned, and we are ready for 2027,” he stated.
Fintiri described the congress as transparent and fair, praising the high turnout as a strong sign of public confidence in the party’s direction. He added that both the PDP and the state government are working closely to deliver effective governance and improve citizens’ lives.

“The party is moving at supersonic speed, and the government has recalibrated the system to provide good governance for the people,” he added.
According to him, the newly elected executives will lead the PDP in Adamawa State for the next four years.
“We know them, we trust them, and they have the experience needed to guide us as we work towards 2027,” Fintiri added. “By God’s will, we’ll get there and form another good government, just like we’ve had over the past eight years.”
