Contrary to earlier speculation that Chatta lost his biological son, Aiyeola revealed via Instagram that the deceased was his godson, whom he considered like a son.

“Ibrahim Chatta didn’t lose his biological son but a godson who was like a son to him. May his pure soul continue to rest peacefully… It’s been an extremely emotional ride,” she wrote.

The actress also offered prayers for strength and comfort for the bereaved family, urging the public to show compassion during the difficult time.

Chatta had initially sparked concern after posting a tribute on Instagram, writing: “Inna liLlahi wa inna ileyhi rajiun. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on Dear Son. Champ.”

He has yet to provide further details.
