Veteran Nigerian highlife singer, Mike Ejeagha, was buried 24 hours after his death.

It was reported that the 95-year-old musician died on Friday, June 6, 2025, after a prolonged battle with prostate cancer.

Ejeagha was buried on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in Umuagba, Imezi-Owa area of Enugu State.

Emmanuel Ejeagha, the deceased’s first son, explained that his father was buried within 24 hours according to his last wish before death.

Emmanuel Ejeagha further announced that his funeral ceremonies will be made known later.
