Bello made this known while featuring on Rédíò Afínjú’s current affairs programme ‘Gbagede Ọrọ’, where he noted that the party will unanimously affirm the flag bearer of the party upon conducting a credible primary.

The Ede-born politician maintained that the race is still open as the party and its stakeholders have not picked any candidate for the forthcoming election, stressing that “West l’okan” is a political tactic.

Speaking on the ‘paralyzed’ operation at the local government Councils in the State, Bello urged both active players in the unrest to respect court order and get the secretariats back in operation.

While reaffirming his relationship with the incumbent Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, the former Ambassador to Mexico, agreed to having accomplices in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, but noted this will not hinder his commitment and support for the APC.

He further added that he is confident of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, owing to the improvement in the cost of living of the masses in the country, adding that the presidential feedback mechanism is assisting in knowing the wants of the grassroots.
