Trump nominates Andrew Puzder as American ambassador to EU

The United States President Donald Trump has nominated a former Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of CKE Restaurants, Andrew Puzder as the American ambassador to the European Union, EU.

The nomination of Puzder came a day after Trump vowed to hit the EU with tariffs because the European Union is very, very bad to them.

The US president had voiced his latest tariff threats in remarks to reporters at the White House after taking office without immediately imposing tariffs as he had promised during his campaign.

Trump has also threatened tariffs against Mexico, Canada and China.
