An early morning fire has engulfed the market in Trademore estate, along Airport Road, Abuja.
While the cause of the fire could not be immediately ascertained, a resident of the area, said his attention was drawn to the incident at about 4 am today.

He added that they do not yet know the cause of the fire, but an electrical issue cannot be ruled out.
According to him, two hours after the fire started, men of the Federal Fire Service arrived and put the fire out.
Meanwhile, traders and residents now face the daunting task of assessing the ruins and piecing their lives together.
