The Chairman of the APC Governors Forum, Senator Hope Uzodinma, made this declaration after inspecting the ICT/Data Centre at the APC national secretariat in Abuja on Tuesday, under the auspices of the Progressive Governors Forum, PGF, preparatory to a forthcoming electronic registration of members.

Accompanied by his Kogi state counterpart, Governor Usman Ododo, the Imo state governor said there are only two political parties in Nigeria, APC and others.

Asked about his take on the ADC’s claim that having the APC government after the 2027 election would be disastrous, Uzodinma said, “You called it a claim. It is their claim, not our claim.

“I know there are only two parties in Nigeria, the All Progressive Congress and others.”

On their mission to the party’s national headquarters, he said: “We came to monitor and evaluate the extent of the e-registration exercise and what has been done. We have inspected and conducted a trip around the facilities and are highly impressed with what we saw. We are also confident that our e-registration exercise will start in full force at any moment now.”

Expressing APC governors’ support to the new party’s national chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, the former lawmaker representing Imo West senatorial district said, “Look at him, this handsome, tall man, full of energy and intelligence.
