Nigeria has witnessed a series of violent incidents in recent weeks, including the abduction of students and staff of St. Mary’s School in Papiri, Agwara LGA of Niger State. The attack came just days after 25 female students were kidnapped from Government Girls Secondary School, Maga, in Kebbi State.
The teenager, who now goes by the stage name Champz, took to X to express solidarity with affected families and to assert that young Nigerians will not remain silent in the face of fear. He emphasized the resolve of his generation to push for a safer nation.
In another disturbing incident, a viral video surfaced on Tuesday showing armed men attacking a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) branch in Oke Isegun, Eruku community, Kwara State.
“I speak today not because I am special, but because I am part of a generation that refuses to stay silent,” he wrote. “We are the future of this country, and we will not accept a future filled with fear. May God protect every child still missing and may God heal this nation that we all love.”

His comments add to an expanding list of public voices denouncing insecurity across the country. Rapper Falz has urged President Bola Tinubu’s administration to take decisive action, while actress Funke Akindele expressed deep concern over the attack in Kwara.
