In a statement, the school’s communication office said it had noticed a rise in unapproved filming across the campus, including inside hostels.
The university explained that there are already procedures for getting permission to use its premises and that these rules are meant to maintain safety, order, and protect the school’s image.
The university further stated that anyone, students, staff, or outsiders who wants to film or record on campus must now get approval from the Communication Unit at the Senate House.

While the university says it supports creativity, it reminded everyone that all activities must follow its guidelines to ensure order and safety.
