The Spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi, announced that the accident involved a car and Mazda bus with a motorcycle and a truck.

Akinbiyi explained that the truck lost control and rammed into other vehicles, leading to the death of the motorcycle rider and his female passenger.

He ascribed the cause of the accident to brake failure on the part of the truck.

“A male motorcyclist and the female passenger he was carrying died in the accident,” he said.
