Newsmen gathered that the incident occurred at Irepo Junction along the Oyo-Ogbomoso Expressway in Oyo on Wednesday.


The tanker, with registration number KMC65ZC (Kano), loaded with PMS, lost control whilst in motion and somersaulted.


It was further gathered that no casualty was recorded in the incident.


The chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, Hon. Maroof Akinwande, confirmed the development.


According to him, the incident occured at exactly 3:51 pm on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, and the agency’s personnel swiftly responded to the emergency call.
