An Osun based Civil Society, The Osun Masterminds (TOM) has called on the State government to release the report of full staff audit exercise conducted by Sally Tibbot to the public, stressing that public fund was spent and several civil servants lives were lost in the process of the exercise.
The Society made this known through its Executive Director Wasiu Oyedokun-Alli at this month’s State of the State address, where he alleged that the uproar between the State Government and Sally Tibbot is more than contractual disagreement which should not have resulted into public obscenities.
The group further queried the Osun State Government over the decision to abandon the Automated Payroll Administration System (APAS), despite the ₦79 million reportedly spent on its implementation.
Speaking on behalf of the Society, Oyedokun-Alli questioned the Osun State Government on how it has been accommodating members of the House of Assembly, noting that renovation work on the Assembly quarters and entrance gate has remained stalled since 2024.
TOM also congratulated Tunji Disu on his appointment as Inspector General of Police, calling on him to use the moment to usher in a new era of professionalism and discipline within the Force as the immediate past tenure of IGP Egbetokun was, in its view, clouded by controversies and shortcomings.
