The Barbadian singer in a post on X, reflected on her journey since leaving home two decades ago to release her first song.

“Twenty years ago, I left my country, my culture, my food, and family to embark on a journey that started with the release of my very first body of music, so many of you were a part of my life and career since the very beginning, and some of you have joined the adventure along the way. I’m forever grateful to all of you,” she wrote.

The 36-year-old, who has sold more than 250 million records worldwide, praised her fan base, credited her family as her strongest support system, and acknowledged the executives, DJs, producers, writers, choreographers, designers, and others who helped shape her career.

“I thank God, He’s been very generous to me and the glory belongs to Him,” she added.

Rihanna rose to global fame in 2005 with her debut single, Pon de Replay, and has since become one of the best-selling artists of all time, earning nine Grammy Awards, multiple Billboard chart records, and building a billion-dollar empire with her Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty brands.
