Reports revealed that Governor Seyi Makinde has approved his nomination, paving the way for the long-anticipated coronation.

A government delegation reportedly met with Ladoja and members of the Olubadan-In-Council at his Bodija residence on Wednesday to finalize arrangements.

Confirming the development, Adeola Oloko, media aide to the monarch-in-waiting, told newsmen that the coronation ceremony will take place at the historic Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Recall that, Ladoja hosted the kingmakers at his residence, further solidifying his path to the throne.

With this development, Ibadanland eagerly awaits the coronation of its new monarch, a former governor of Oyo State and a highly respected political figure.
