Commissioner of Police, Baba Azare, said the command was fully prepared to ensure a safe and hitch-free event.

“Our men will be deployed in full strength to police the game,” he said, promising the safety of everyone attending or travelling for the match.

Azare also issued a stern warning to potential troublemakers, saying the police would not tolerate any form of violence during or after the event.

“Our tactical team is on high alert. Anyone planning to disrupt the peace should stay away,” he said.
