The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission are currently engaged in a closed-door meeting in Abuja as preparations ramp up for the party’s upcoming National Executive Committee meeting.
They both went into the closed-door meeting immediately after having a press meeting at the INEC headquarters.
Though details of the discussions remain undisclosed, the meeting focuses on issues related to internal party processes, upcoming elections, and the status of the party’s leadership structure.
Those present include the acting National Chairman of the PDP, Umar Damagum, the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, PDP governors, top INEC officials, and others.
