Veteran broadcaster and actor Patrick Doyle says he is pleased with how well his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle, has done in her career, and how well she has carried the name “Doyle”.

Speaking in an interview, he said he would rather remain silent than speak negatively about her.

Responding to a question about her progress in the film industry, Patrick said he is happy the Doyle name “opened doors” for her and that she has represented it well.

“She’s doing pretty well, and I am proud of her achievements,” he said.

You would recall that the actress announced divorce from the actor in January 2023 over an undisclosed reason.
