In an effort to place Nigeria on the global map, her record-breaking attempt will showcase extraordinary endurance, strength, and resilience.

The event, themed ‘Rise Beyond Limits’, is set to take place in December 2025, with Okeke highlighting her goal to spark a global conversation on themes like resilience, motherhood, and the therapeutic power of movement as a tool for empowerment.

For Okeke, the journey to this ambitious goal is deeply personal. In a statement shared with newsmen, she revealed that her passion for aerobics began as a form of healing following her own battle with postpartum depression.

“Stepping became my therapy,” she explained. “Each move reminded me that I was still here, still strong, and still capable of becoming more.” Okeke emphasized that this record attempt is not just about physical endurance but also about offering hope to others, particularly women. “I want women to know that no matter what challenges you face, you can rise again,” she added.

Okeke has been preparing for this monumental challenge since June 2024, committing herself to significant lifestyle changes, particularly in her diet and sleep routine.

“For the past three months, I’ve strictly adhered to a healthy and natural diet,” she said, adding that a dietitian has been brought on board to ensure balanced nutrition throughout the training period. Sleep and recovery are also integral to her preparation. “I make sure to get at least seven hours of sleep each night and reduce screen time to help with recovery and focus,” she explained.
