According to the agency, the session will focus on several key concerns, including unruly passenger behaviour, passenger handling protocols, unresolved refund and compensation complaints, and the enforcement of regulations such as mobile phone switch-off instructions during flights.

Also on the agenda are the proposed introduction of radio frequency identification (RFID) bag tags, improvements in flight monitoring technology, and enhanced protection measures for cabin crew members. The overarching goal is to improve the overall travel experience for air passengers across the country.

The meeting will be streamed live on the NCAA’s official social media platforms, including X and Facebook, to ensure public transparency.

This development follows a directive from the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development for the NCAA to begin publicly naming airlines that violate aviation regulations.
