Both artists shared statements on social media, expressing deep gratitude for their time with Maverick City Music while signaling the beginning of new chapters in their individual careers.

According to Naomi Raine, “This Isn’t an Ending, But a New Beginning”

Naomi Raine, who has been a core member of the group since its inception in 2019, shared that her decision came after “a lot of prayer and consideration.”

“Being a part of Mav truly changed my life,” Raine wrote. “What started as a group of folks singing in a shed has turned into something I could’ve never even imagined. I don’t regret one single thing, the highs, the lows, the lessons, all of it.”

Raine emphasized that her departure does not mark the end of her music or ministry, but a personal shift toward what she believes is her individual calling.

“Every song I was a part of was written and sung from a pure place, just me wanting to please God. And now, I believe God has given me the green light to step into what He’s calling me to do individually. Still writing. Still singing. Still worshiping – just on my own,” she added.

“These last two years I’ve been locked in on what really matters… in my life and my career,” Moore shared. “With that, I’ve made the bittersweet decision to end my relationship with Maverick City Music.”

Though stepping away from the collective, Moore reaffirmed his commitment to making music that connects on a deeply human level.

“My dream hasn’t changed,” he said. “I’m stepping into this next phase ready to share my story and make music that helps people feel a little more human, a little more understood, and a little less alone.”
