He stated this while speaking during a Space session on social media where he claimed not to be desperate for power and is more interested in character and integrity.

According to him, “If the agreement is one term, I will leave on May 28, 2031 and not even May 29.
“I am not desperate to be president.
“I am desperate to see Nigeria work.”


Obi also noted that upholding zoning and respecting any agreement within the coalition reflects political maturity.
