Despite being contracted at Old Trafford until 2028, Rashford’s future at the club appears uncertain under current manager Ruben Amorim. According to BBC Sport, the 27-year-old forward has seemingly moved away from United’s plans.
“I’m enjoying this football club,” Rashford said in an interview. “For anybody who loves football, Barcelona is one of the most iconic clubs in the history of the game. For a player, it’s an honour to be here.”
When asked whether he hoped to stay in Spain, Rashford didn’t hesitate: “For sure.”

The England winger spent the second half of last season at Aston Villa, where his career experienced a resurgence under manager Unai Emery. This season, his impressive form at Barcelona has continued, with Rashford netting a brace against Olympiakos in the Champions League earlier this week, bringing his tally to five goals in 12 games for the Blaugrana.
Ahead of his first El Clásico appearance against Real Madrid this weekend, Rashford reflected on his career and the benefits of a change in environment. “People forget that I spent 23 years of my life at Manchester United,” he explained. “Sometimes, a change is what you need. I think that’s what’s happening with me now, and I’m enjoying every moment.”
With Rashford continuing to shine in Barcelona’s colours, all eyes will be on whether the club opts to make his move permanent, especially with the option still on the table for £28 million.
