Not less than 1000 people living with disabilities, widows, and elderly residents of Ejigbo Local Government in Osun State received free food packs from a Food Bank Support Scheme, sponsored by a non-governmental organization, the Tunde Ajao Group (TAG)

The distribution, which was held at Babalola’s Hall, was carried out in the presence of community elders and traditional chiefs.

While speaking with our correspondent, the Team Lead of the Foundation, Tunde Ajao, noted that the gesture was borne out of his genuine love for the masses and a way of giving back to society, decrying any political aspiration.

ALAN, as fondly called by his admirers, added that initiatives like this will cushion economic hardship faced by citizens, while adding that community development should not be left alone for the government.

One of the beneficiaries of the scheme, Issa Wulemotu, who appreciated the sponsor also affirmed that she receives a food pack from the Foundation every month.

Similarly, another beneficiary, Bose Beatrice seized the moment to pray for the ALAN and his team for their selfless service to humanity over the years.

Tunde Ajao Group (TAG) is a non-profit organisation committed to improving health outcomes, promoting gender equality, and supporting vulnerable populations.
