In an official statement posted on the club’s social media page, Fenerbahçe confirmed that Mourinho, who took charge ahead of the 2024/25 season, has left his role as head coach of the first team.

“We have parted ways with José Mourinho, who has been the manager of our Professional Football A Team since the 2024–2025 season. We thank him for his efforts for our team and wish him success in his future career,” the statement read.

Mourinho, 62, was appointed in June 2024 amid high expectations, but his tenure was cut short following a string of inconsistent results in both domestic and European competitions.

The club has yet to announce a successor.
