Police confirmed to Zagazola Makama that the arrests were carried out on June 29, during a coordinated operation led by the Scorpion Squad under the command of ACP Victor Godfrey.

The suspects were arrested after weeks of surveillance and intelligence gathering, including the use of digital forensic tools.

The suspects were identified as, `Abdulkadir Abubakar, a native of Mpape, FCT, Mohammed Tasiu Sani, of Rigina, Kaduna State, Suleiman Jibrin of Sabon-Gayan, Kaduna State.

Police sources confirmed that Abdulkadir Abubakar made disturbing disclosures relating to the internal killings of the group, including executions of group members considered or purportedly considered as traitors.

The suspects are now assisting authorities in locating arms cache sites and to arrest other gang members who are still at large.

Police indicate that the operation constitutes a meaningful breakthrough in dismantling violent criminal networks that threaten security presence in the capital and surrounding areas.
