A video showing armed men storming the Christ Apostolic Church in the Eruku community recently went viral, with several worshippers reportedly abducted.
The incident occurred shortly after 25 students of Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, Maga, were kidnapped in Kebbi.
In a statement on X, Davido expressed sympathy for the victims, describing the incidents as heartbreaking. He condemned the rising violence, insisting such tragedies “must never become our norm,” and urged Nigerians to unite in demanding a safer nation.

He also appealed for credible information that could aid efforts to rescue the abducted schoolgirls.
Other celebrities have echoed similar concerns. Rapper Falz urged the federal government to act decisively, Funke Akindele voiced shock over the church attack, and actress Bukola Arugba disclosed that three of her relatives were among those abducted.
