Recall that the new fees were initially scheduled to take effect on August 1, 2025, but CAC said the enforcement will now commence on September 1, 2025.

According to a public notice signed by the Commission’s management, the new policy includes penalties for downloading documents more than seven days after filing.

CAC explained that the decision to postpone was made in response to feedback from users and stakeholders, as well as observed technical challenges affecting users during the transition to the upgraded system.

The Commission listed some of the issues users are facing, including difficulties in downloading documents, payment processing, post-incorporation filings for business names, and uploading certain required documents.

The Commission further assured that it is working closely with technical partners to stabilize the portal without a complete shutdown.
