Joshua, 36, the former two-time unified heavyweight champion from the UK, will meet Paul at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The highly anticipated fight will consist of eight three-minute rounds.
This bout comes as a replacement for Paul’s original opponent. The 28-year-old Paul had been scheduled to face lightweight star Gervonta Davis in an exhibition match earlier this month, but that fight was cancelled. Now, Paul steps into the ring against Joshua, who is looking to make a comeback after a year-long hiatus.
Paul, who made headlines for his unexpected rise in the boxing world, notably defeated heavyweight legend Mike Tyson in a controversial match in Texas in November 2024.

Joshua, on the other hand, has not fought since suffering a stoppage loss to British rival Daniel Dubois at Wembley in September 2024 during their IBF title bout.
The loss marked a significant setback in Joshua’s career, and this upcoming fight against Paul could be a pivotal moment in his efforts to return to the top.
