Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, disclosed this while parading over 30 suspects involved in various criminal activities across the state.

He affirmed that, “We have apprehended one of the prime suspects who masterminded the killing of the APC ward chairman in Ose LGA,” Adeleye stated this during a press briefing in Akure.


Adepoyigi was abducted along the Ifon-Owo Road while returning from his farm and was later killed by his captors. His death sparked outrage within the local community and among political stakeholders.

The arrest, according to the Commander, marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation and efforts to curb violent crimes in the state.
