Speaking on a podcast in Pidgin English, Baba Fryo said the couple’s inability to manage their union was due to both being in the entertainment industry, which he believes can create conflict when not properly handled.

He explained that, traditionally, a woman is expected to be a stabilising force in a marriage, especially when her partner is involved in vices. However, he questioned how stability can be achieved when both partners exhibit similar habits.

Baba Fryo also revealed a personal connection to 2Baba’s current partner, Natasha, claiming he had known her since childhood and once carried her on his lap when she was just three years old.

He said, “2Face and his wife, two of them, I will say they didn’t manage themselves well. They are both entertainers. Annie is an actress, and 2Face is a musician.
