The coalition also announced some of the interim leaders and members of the party.

The former Senate President, David Mark, has been installed as national chairman, while the former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, was made the national secretary.
Ex-Minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi, was appointed as spokesperson of the party.

The coalition had tried to register a new party, All Democratic Alliance, ADA, after initial talks with ADC and Social Democratic Party, SDP, had broken down.

But when it appeared their attempts to register ADA might be frustrated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the coalition resumed talks with ADC.
